Mrs. stephanie thomas

In elementary school, you were a super star in my eyes. I was in awe of your energy, humor, and kindness and saw you as the coolest person alive. You had a decorated wall behind your desk, covered in drawings from your students, whether they graduated from Pine Run or were still in your class.

I remember one class you taught us how to properly draw noses. You drew an example on the board of what to do - a rounded tip and nostrils. But, you also drew an example on the board of what not to do - an uppercase L. You shrieked and ran around the tables with your arms in the air, and the kids laughed in return to your silly reaction to such an inadequate representation of a nose.

Your charm and personality is so endearing and made kids flock to you. You started my art career and I couldn't have done it without you.
