Other than Microsoft's program, Paint, this was my first exposure to computer art. I began this style at a young age and it was a lot different than the traditional art I was used to. It took a long time to get a handle of the tablet and the pen, but with practice, I was able to navigate the GIMP Program smoothly and efficiently.
It has been years since I've done any work on GIMP or any other computer art program for that matter. Maybe I'm just subconsciously waiting for the next bigger and better program in my years at The University of the Arts. But looking back at my past work makes me want to work more with GIMP, being that my curiosity for art styles never ends.
